QUARANTINE SERIES 1

London, March-July 2020

I started painting these series on the day that the first lockdown was announced in London at the end of March of 2020. With the shops closed and having no access to painting materials I was forced to use what I found lying around in my attic.

A large pot of black acrylic paint, a few old IKEA drawing papers rolls, some dried acrylic tubes and a couple of rusty old spray cans were more than enough to last me through the next few weeks of solitary quarantine where i completed a series of 50 paintings.

The series were sold out under the #ArtistsSupportPledge initiative and an additional 20% from all the proceeds were donated to support AgeUk and Stand Up To Racism.
